This is a great little hidden gem. Burgers are tasty, 30+ beers on tap, friendly staff, and lots of locals. The AC was cold, and it will return again on a Friday afternoon.
When I moved to Lakewood, I really missed the burgers from My Brother's Bar in Denver, until I found this place. Their trailer burger is the best in the world! It is well worth the mess. And my husband raves about their onion rings!
Fantastic burgers! ANY burger I can get cooked to order with an over easy egg is my kind of place. Staff is attentive and many beers on tap.
We ordered the Spicy Elvis and the Colorado Tots! The Spicy Elvis, which is a burger with peanut butter, candied bacon, and fried jalapenos on it is one of the best burgers I've had in quite a while! I would definitely order it again. For beer, we had a Son of a Baptist milk stout and Pliny the Elder ale. Both delicious! The service was great! Emily was our waitress. She was very informative and helpful in making recommendations. I'll be coming back here every time I visit Denver!
This is a great place to go to watch sports. The food is pretty solid, better than most bar food and the service has always been great. I've enjoyed each time I've been to Westrail!
Friday night and the Denver Nuggets are playing in the NBA finals. This place is hopping! Mike, gen manager, greeted us and we chose to sit outside. Kenny, our server, provided the best service ever. Based on his recommendations we enjoyed the fish and fries. Reuben, umami mac n cheese and elephant ear sticks with raspberry sauce. All were better than excellent. Our only suggestion: create a sampler plate. There are way too many good things to try at one time
We were back in last night, sat at the bar this time and both enjoyed a simple dinner: Southwest Salad and the Adult Mac and Cheese. Our app was turned in late, but not a big issue. One encouragement if an owner is reading this: please dial back the heat so as not to burn the beer cheese on the Wisconsin cheese fries. Only thing we would've changed. I had their hard seltzer green cocktail and he had a couple of their IPAs. Friendly service, lots of TVs to offer some distraction and good food. I always appreciate the great service that sitting at the bar offers and tonight was no different. Westrail isn't well positioned, location wise, but we did find parking adjacent to their main lot and knew where to turn to get to them off of Union. It's oddly cool to be back dining with no masks. Fingers crossed it stays this way.
